The Court found that the Petitioner’s 2023 income disclosure of $1,800/month formed the basis for the child support calculation, despite no updated documentation being produced for the 2024 tax year.

PAGE 19 — CONCLUSION AND ORDER

The Court acknowledges that the Petitioner is a caring and involved father whose commitment to his daughter's life is not in question, but finds that continuity of care and the primacy of the Respondent's longstanding caretaking role weigh in favour of the existing arrangement.

Primary custody is hereby awarded to the Respondent, with the Petitioner entitled to parenting time on alternate weekends from Friday 6:00 p.m. to Sunday 6:00 p.m., and every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The Court notes that the Petitioner's pattern of conduct during the proceedings raises questions about his capacity to co-parent cooperatively.

The Petitioner is directed to complete a parenting assessment programme within ninety days of this Order.
